This was really good to see, thank you, Brie! I know you're not done cookin', but seeing how natural and femme but still yourself you're already looking has me curious about getting some facial masculinization (I'm transing the other way). It’s at the bottom of the surgery shopping list (top chop was priority one, and now I need this pesky uterus gone, and later metoidioplasty...) From someone who is definitely not done with surgeries, do you have more you're intending to do? Hope that's not invasive, definitely don't need specifics, just curious about what the shopping list looks like for the flipside.

Capitalism is about everyone getting the value that they want and only when that happens, the market clears and a transaction happens. Only when a company values you as much as you value working there that a transaction happens, which is why resume matters because it makes your value higher. It's not about companies having all the power and the workers having none...that's more like fascism.

So fucking brave to go through all that. I had one surgery 3 years ago and was so scared! Even with the bandages on Brie is already looking so good.

I have been quite upset this week (mostly about Palestine and the letter from hollywood about Bisan's emmy nomination), and I finally got around to watching this video and it was just so lovely to have a moment of happiness seeing how happy Brie is and you both are with this gender affirming surgery. Sometimes I just need a reminder that good things do happen, and trans happiness will always make me so happy. Anyway, sorry for the ramble just wanted to say that I'm so happy for you!

7th- 12th grade I went to a small private Christian school. I remember some of the dress codes were- shorts /skirts couldn’t be more than 3 finger widths above the knee. So basically only burmudq shorts. I got a pair of Jean shorts In the boys section. No jeans with big rips, no wearing just leggings as pants, unless there’s a skirt over them. Also, no tank tops or low cut shirts. I don’t think we could wear camo 🤷‍♀️ or any shirt with profanity etc… I remember a girl in my class got in trouble for wearing capris in the winter or something. I still don’t understand that. I remember everyone was thinking “who cares!?” If the clothes adhere to the dress code the rest of the year. If a student wants to wear shorts and a tshirt in winter, that’s their fault if they’re cold. Wednesdays we’re Chapel day- no jeans, and had to wear a nicer shirt etc.. these rules have changed since I was there. (Graduated ‘07). Jeans are allowed for chapel now 😆 they also have built a new gym a couple years ago… was supped to be built when I was there, we raised money all year long.

I already knew the results were going to be great considering how carefully she chose the surgeon but the candid photos made me gasp cuz Brie looks so pretty!!!! Congratulations on the new face Brie you look amazing and I will feel so blessed when we get to see the fully healed results, legit super excited for that. Thank you for sharing!

No questions, but as someone who does not have any close friends or family that have transitioned, it has been so interesting to watch Bries process and to find out everything she has had to go through. It always seems like questions I want to ask, I shouldn't ask because its not my business, its a medical procedure and that is a private matter. So to learn more, to become a better ally is always something I am thankful for. Thank you for sharing your story, that you didn't have to share, and I hope you continue to heal and feel better and you get the result you want!!

I've said it before but as a Cree lesbian with a transmasc parent, it's sooooo heartwarming to see you both thriving. Gives me hope for people like us. Congrats on the surgery, Brie!!

My 2 Autistic children are obsessed with freeze dryed bluberries, strawberries, and raspberries. But I agree with Kristin. They are horrible. LOL, yet I buy tons and tons of them because it's the ONLY fruit my children eat. 🤷‍♀️
